Proof of Concept Introduction
Hello there!
It's my first time doing one of these devlogs, but I'm eager to start.
So what's there to say about SpiritSurge... Quite a lot honestly. Probably too long for this mere post to take into account.
The purpose of this first devpost isn't to focus on the game's internal contents and rather focus on the shaping of it is to now.
This project has been a single person-endeavor up to this point, and it's seen many variations through it's cloudy history. But with all my stumbling through the mist, I've been able to become a better designer overall, with art, writing, and game design. And with those skills sharpened and ready, I've been able to finally push my ideas into a game that I think people will enjoy to adventure into and explore. It's not easy working on a game for certain, but it's become a nice pastime of mine to work on creative projects like this to get a general sense of accomplishment in the creative side. I really want to push to create a community that enjoys that drive of creativity even if it is something as simple as RPG Maker.
I've been keeping this project under the wraps for a while, and I think it's definitely time for it to come out to see the sunlight. Only fate knows how further this project's potential can really go.
I don't really have anything more to add besides that. I'm just really hasty to see the results of the concept's performance, and what people really think of it.
Anyway, I hope that you people enjoy the work I've made so far.
